Description
The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed various aspects of education, particularly in language learning. Among AI-powered tools, ChatGPT has gained widespread attention due to its ability to provide instant feedback, generate ideas, and support learners in different stages of the writing process. Despite its growing popularity, limited research has been conducted on how English-major students utilize ChatGPT in their self-directed learning of essay writing skills. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the current utilization of ChatGPT in the self-studying process of essay writing among English majors at the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University.
